"Transforming lives through mindset change."

WHO WE ARE

There is great potential in everything and in everyone. At Seeds of Leadership Uganda, our efforts are aimed at providing avenues where individuals and communities discover their purpose. We believe that education and training replace closed minds with open minds.

Over the years, we have witnessed lives transformed through education and financial literacy. With the ever increasing population comes challenges of food security and environmental degradation.

Additional to Education and financial literacy, Seeds of leadership is also creating impact through programs that are aimed at ensuring food security for communities. We are open to partnerships that are in line with this vision.

HOW we do it

HOW we do it

At Seeds of Leadership, our approach is rooted in a comprehensive, holistic strategy that goes beyond traditional education.
We believe that nurturing future leaders requires more than just academic support; it involves creating an environment where young people can thrive, discover their potential, and develop the skills necessary to lead with purpose and integrity.

HOW we do it

HOW we do it

Our investments in child and youth development are grouped into five major areas:

  • Education Education is a tough financial engagement for people living in a poor country, especially for lengthy, demanding and expensive courses such BSc. Medicine & Surgery, Architectural Engineering, Law, among others. As a result, many children don’t attend school, others drop out soon as they begin and a good number of them start child labor at a very young age.

  • Finance As one of the approaches towards poverty eradication, Seeds of leadership is providing access to financial literacy trainings in various communities including slums and villages. Most of the People in the country work “Hand-to-Mouth”. We educate people about poverty, the impact it imposes on their lives as well as acceptable financial discipline. In 2016 realized the importance of creating organized savings and credit clubs through which members would be able to acquire knowledge to start and sustain small income generating activities, as well as grow a financial muscle to provide for their lives.

  • Leadership The tough economic crisis in the world and Uganda in particular, requires men and women that are determined to create impact in policy formulation and implementation. Through the education sponsorship program, we emphasize leadership and voluntary service across all available spaces. As a result, many of the beneficiaries have taken leadership roles in various capacities. The alarming corruption rates in different public offices require patriotic leaders that are going to transform their communities through good Stewardship of the limited resources. We use all available avenues to Equip, develop and release Leaders. Partners can support this cause through financial donations for leadership conferences, School outreach programs, donating reading materials on Leadership and personal development.

  • Community Health The education sponsorship program over the years has produced doctors among other medical professionals. Two of our very own, through the Leadership mentorship program were able to start a non-profit call Destiny Doctors which currently has a membership of about 280 Medical professionals including surgeons and other medical experts. Our community health program is more inclined to the partnership we now have with the Destiny Doctors. Under this cause, we look forward to establishing medical facilities in underserved communities in Uganda.

  • Food security Under this program we are also approaching community health through Food Production. At the moment we are renting land and growing quick maturing organic foods. This is also in a bid to establish a business model where we sell some of the produce while the other portion feeds staff and the rest is donated. We are currently growing beans, maize, Irish potatoes, sweet potatoes, and onions. Food production is the future with the increasing challenges in the climate and increase in Population.
